Caring for your pets is the heart of what I do — and it always will be. But somewhere along the way I realized the real job is bigger: I look after the whole life you leave behind.
Your animals stay in their own home, in their own routine, with someone who's patient with the anxious ones and gentle with the ones who need medication two or three times a day. I'm trusted with the pets other people find too much — the seniors, the ones with chronic conditions, the cat who's never warmed to anyone. I let them come to me on their own terms. They usually do.
And while I'm there, your home keeps humming. Mail and parcels come inside before they're sitting out for the neighborhood to see. The house stays lived-in. If the AC gives out or a pipe starts to leak, I'm the one meeting the repair person and keeping you posted — not the phone call that unravels your trip.
