Client Service Agreement

Megan Reed Pet Services and the client named on this agreement.

What we agree to do

We will care for your pets as described in your care plan, keep to their routine as closely as we can, keep you updated, and leave your home as we found it or better.

What you agree to do

• Give us accurate information about your pets, including health, medications and behaviour
• Make sure we can access your home
• Leave enough food, medication and supplies for the whole reservation
• Give us your veterinarian's details and an emergency contact
• Tell us if anyone else will be entering the home while we are caring for your pets

Emergency veterinary care [lawyer review required]

If your pet becomes ill or is injured while in our care, you authorise us to:

• Contact your veterinarian, and transport your pet to them
• If your veterinarian is unavailable and the situation is urgent, transport your pet to the nearest emergency animal hospital
• Authorise treatment that a veterinarian considers necessary to prevent suffering or save your pet's life, where we cannot reach you first

We will always try to reach you first, and we will keep trying throughout.

Veterinary costs [lawyer review required]

You remain responsible for the cost of any veterinary care your pet receives, including emergency treatment authorised under the section above, and including transport costs.

If we pay a veterinary bill on your behalf so that your pet can be treated immediately, you agree to reimburse us.

Insurance

Megan Reed Pet Services carries liability insurance through PCI Pet Care Insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request.

Your pet's behaviour

You confirm you have told us about any history of biting, aggression or escape attempts. If your pet injures someone, you remain responsible as their owner.

Covered in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement.

Signature

By signing, you confirm you have read and agree to this agreement, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, and that the information you have given us about your pets and your home is accurate.
